Honey is one of the purest foods that nature offers to man which has been known since antiquity. Bees collect nectar and pollen from various plants, process and store this natural sweet substance in their honeycombs.
Honey that derives from different regions can differ in colour, taste, and aroma because they are created using different plants and in different climatic conditions. However, the nutritional value of honey doesn’t change.
It is important to apply the right beekeeping practices in both beekeeping and honey standardization in order to keep its features (colour, aroma, taste) just as nature offers them to us.
